The idea I have come up with is called Mission: Graduate.
I am trying to come up with a social program that would appeal to prospective funders. Also, in my area there isn't anything like this. This is for my last class before I can graduate with an associates degree. So what I am asking is do you feel this is a good idea for a social program?

I forgot to mention that this program would be geared towards high school students. The end result would be that they would have the necessary skills and in turn feel more confident that they would be able to graduate and perhaps persue college or trade school.

Google the National Guard Youth Challenge program, it may or may not be available in your state, but there are a lot of good ideas that you may want to emulate, with or without the military emphasis. My son graduated from the program in NC and has experienced great success because of the foundation they gave him. It is funded by all levels of community-county, state, federal. I am sure they receive grants and most definitely receive money from the National Guard.

The statistics on how much less this program costs per student is amazing and there is no cost to the student. They have a stipend for $100 per month for eleven months following graduation if the graduate is either employed or going to college full time. I hope this helps your project, we need more choices for our young students.

Are you trying to get Scholarship Funds or Grant Money?

The money placed in one's head cannot be taken away.
