I always felt that I would never meet the right one, and I'd eventually end up old and alone.
Now I am old...and I am alone...and I never did meet the right one (or when I did, she wanted someone else).

Yep, all the time. Thinking that way probably makes it a self-fulfilling prophecy too, but I can't seem to help it.
