This was an answer I gave to another questioner about what I'd write about God if I could. This is a true story. I know nothing of cars. I only know what the mechanic told me, and the look on his face. The engine belt had cracked. My car should not have gone any further. But it went for 20 miles and stopped right in front of the hospital door where I needed to be. What do you think of it?

"I'd write about my son and things that happened when he was hospitalized at 3 weeks of age for a week. He was born with Infantile Spasms. 80% of children born with this are mentally disabled by the time they are 1, 10% have problems, and the last 10% completely outgrow it. That last 10% had a problem that caused it and took medication to cure it. My son had no cause. There was no reason after all of the testing they did on him for him to have had this. Just a freak occurence. But he completely outgrew it and is 1 1/2 now.

He's just like any other child, moreso since he's already potty training and talking.

I had to get a biopsy for a lump in my neck while he was there, so my husband stayed with our son until I came back from another hospital where I had the biopsy performed. On the way back, I heard a loud "CRACK" from the hood. The car kept sputtering but I kept pressing the gas to make it go. At stop lights it conked out, but always restarted. I was right in front of the staff entrance, literally, when it conked out for good and just would not start.

I of course went through the staff entrance to get to my son. THe funny thing about the car is this. The engine belt had broken. When that happens, the car can no longer go anywhere. It went for 20 miles and kept restarting. Logically this should not have been possible. And it stopped working right in front of where I needed to be.

I was praying so much that week. The car thing happened the day before my son was discharged. But I was praying, my family was praying, and we were doing whatever we could to help.

Yes, I would .
I also remember years ago, driving home from church, the brakes went out on our car. My whole family was in there, and the car was out of control heading down a steep hill. I still remember the panic and that awful feeling I had.The emergency brake would not work.
Miraculously
my dad got us down most of the hill and the the emegency brake kicked in right at a gas station! It happened so smoothly , no one at the gas station realized our brakes had gone out. They thought we just wanted some gas. Amazes me still...
My son weighed 1lb and 3 oz when he was born. Today he is 15 years old, 6feet tall and in perfect health! Not even glasses. Now THAT is a miracle for sure.

Your story is so complicated. But if it's true, nothing is impossible. Everybody have this kind of things in their life. I just say Alhamdulillahi Rabbul alamiin.

We Buddhists call it "karma"... but that's just our opinion. Whatever works for you.
