The church needs to call sin what it is sin.
Lukewarm ear "itching" sermans to not offend and to increase numbers isn't the way.
Jesus is the only way to salvation (Jesus shed blood for the payment of sin).
The world tries to decide the importance of the bible and Jesus (they don't know Jesus or the bible).

There will always be those who seek to mimic the church because they think that makes them "good people." Sadly some have been deceived into thinking that church attendance and other religious activity will make them both good and right with God. It reminds me of what the Apostle John wrote in Revelations 11:1-2 -

1I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. 2But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.'"

The outer court has been given to the Gentiles (those who have not been grafted into Israel or that body of Believers). The world can call themselves religious or even "Christians" but if they do not have that dynamic, real relationship with Christ and the Father in the innercourt, then they are not counted among the real family of God. Not because they aren't religious or aren't trying but because they haven't been born again by the Spirit of God and have the Spirit of God living in and through them. It's about worshiping God in spirit and truth - having that real relationship; believing that God really is there and walking with Him daily. The things we do come out of that relationship.
God Bless you!

Because they so often follow the teachings of man and follow traditions that should never have been in the first place, INSTEAD of following only the words of God in the HOly Bible. Some churches are still representiing Jesus Christ, but not many anymore. If you are in church still, you must stand for truth and insist it be taught were you are or go. GOd will show you. There was one true church, and everything since then is a branch off the original. So truth is there, and errror. The only true church is US, those that will know God and HIs WOrd, and live it and speak it fully God says if you love me, OBEY ME. Most want to ignore that last part, but it was a command, not merely a suggestion.
Stand up for the word of God. Its not my opinion or yours , or the pastors that matters. ITs only what God says, KNow HIm and KNow His word, intimately, stay in the SPirit and God will reveal all truth to you.

Because the church and the world are made up of human beings. Everything that is worldly happens inside of the church. There are people having affairs, abusing children and their spouses, drug abuse, lying, stealing etc. Some Christians can be rude and condescending to other people and extremely judgmental, but are living less then stellar lives. I've seen Christians behave nothing like what I believe a Christian is suppose too. Their are people in the church who are hypocrites. Just speaking from my own opinion.

Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

New Age is a dangerous movement trying with all it's might to change the mentality of the church. This religion is using men who have become very influential speakers on radio and television, Pastors, and religious leaders.
They promote psychology over Biblical doctrine and use scriptures of their choosing to try and make their points valid.
We are living in very perilous times.
We need to be praying and reading our Bibles for ourselves and learning to listen as God speaks, not our favorite T.V. preacher.

Personally, I never watch religious T.V.

If it looks like the world, acts like the world, talks like the world, thinks like the world, it hasn't been reborn. Period!

i think you probably know the answer to your question.
like you said, most people attend churches who follow the traditions of men ... they "deny the power". by doing so, they have no power of their own to live a holy life as the body of Christ is suppose to do. the LORD is returning for a bride that is holy & w/o spot. most of the "church world" cannot make that claim.
if you LOOK like the world, TALK like the world, & ACT like the world .... you ARE of the world. you are walking in the flesh.
scripture says that in doing this .... you don't know the LORD & you are none of His.

"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. "
(rom 8:5-8)

If Christians were perfect Jesus would not have had to die for our sins. A flaming Chariot would have come for us by now!

I expect we will NOT have "freedom" to choose evil in heaven. Instead we will be (really) FREE of it's hold on us.

God is holy. We imperfect mortals cannot completely understand Him until we meet Him in the after-life.

He loves you just the way you are, but He doesn't leave you in that imperfect state.

He just took a week to speak a universe into existence, but he's so loving and patient that He is still working on me. Thank you Father!

The body of Christ suffered daily, the present church. The body Christ is shared to all of us but we do not know how to part-take it . In virtue of Charity through Church, it become the source of grace in order to unite us daily- accepting Jesus body with the maternal protection of Mother Mary to gather us one whole church simply The Holy Family of Christ.

The Blessed Mother intercession cannot be separated to our relationship to God and mankind. In the name of Jesus family.

The challenge is that we...that includes me... don't look truly at what Jesus has done for us and who we are in Christ. We are washed in the blood of Jesus, cleansed from our sin, no longer sinners but children of the Almighty God, saints. We need to recognize who we are and walk in it. Me first- I'm not judging anyone else I'm judging me!

Read the first 3 Chapters of the Book of Revelation, they will tell you all you need to know, as to why things are as they are today.
