I once fell from an airplane. When my body hit the ground, it was almost totally obliterated. No piece larger than a quarter remained. The doctors said I had less than a one in ten thousand chance of recovery, but my family and friends prayed for me, and thanks to God's healing power, I was up and walking again within a week, and now I've fully recovered! Praise the Lord!

I've been a nurse, working in hospitals, for over 30 years. I have never seen prayer or faith have any effect on a person's illness, other than a little emotional support. Hardly miraculous, but worthwhile in a small way, I suppose. I have never seen anything which, in any way, resembled "[divine] intervention." Sorry to ruin your day.

I have seen this. We had a friend that was in a jet skiing accident on the Colorado river. She was helivaced to UMC medical in Las Vegas where the doctors realized that she had no feeling from the waist down. We drove 4 hours to Vegas to see how she was and sure enought, no feeling in her legs at all. She was only 18 at the time and was in total shock at the idea that she may never walk again. The next morning her mom went to the chapel that they have in the hopital and prayed with the pastor. We got a call at the hotle 2 hours later from her mom saying that she was up and walking and that they were releasing her. She has been fine ever since.

confusing to declare. i think of maximum folk for sure grant up a prayer while they are in, or see somebody in, a dire issue. And as for Divine Intervention, whose to declare that the astounding individual (or element) being interior the astounding place on the astounding time is taken into consideration one of those case. i think of lower back to Kevin Everett, the soccer participant who go through the existence-threatening spinal harm throughout a interest a pair of weeks in the past. between the docs on the sector that day were in touch in doing learn into treating such injuries and 'merely befell to have' the mandatory kit handy to handle Mr. Everett suitable on the sector. Is that divine intervention or sturdy planing. i don't be attentive to. yet i'm specific Mr. Everett will evaluate it a miracle the day he walks out the well being midsection quite of being wheeled out as a quadriplegic or carted out in a field.

I believe so much in the power of prayer! I believe that we have the capability of praying for someone and God actually hearing and answering our prayers!

I have heard and know of several instances of someone having an illness or going to the doctor for tests relating to cancer, and test results coming back with no trace of the cancer or the cancer not being as bad as originally thought. I believe that this is a result of prayers.

No, and I've seen countless prayers given for both friends, acquaintances and close family members. I can honestly say that I have never witnessed a healing.

Yes. I struggled with depression and extreme suicidal thoughts for years and even more so in the past months. I sat in my bed for those many months thinking to myself and crying. I quit answering the phone for my family and friends. I found comfort in wanting to die.
Then, one night, I had a very heavy head when I laid down to sleep.
The next morning, I woke up with new understanding. My mind was clearer and everything was right. I visited my grandmother and saw what I had been missing. It was truely a remarkable experience.
God answers prayers.
