Go to home Depot. The have lots of different Exterior paints that will work well on steel. A light sanding and cleaning will help the new paint stick better!

Benjamin Moore has a product for exterior doors and siding, called MoorGlo Acrylic House and Trim Paint. It comes in a variety of colors and can be found at Ace Hardware as well as many specialty stores. Be sure to sand and prime the door before painting.

Use either "Krylon" or "Rust-Oleum" ext. enamel. Prep the door per the paint manufacturer instructions prior to painting. A quart should work if you doing the exterior side only.

moor glo is a latex ..do not get that ,your best bet is any of the following...either a sherwin williams or benjamin moore DTM ( direct to metal).paint or Valspars anti rust industrial enamel...I perfer the valspar it applys better and wears better..it is virtually indestructable....painting contractor.
