i take klonopin twice a day and it works for me. and i take ambien as well and it works for me too. i have taken trazadone and it made me sick. i also have taken ativan, but klonopin is longer lasting and it works better for me. i took lunesta as well and it worked really well for me as well, i just went to ambien because it is generic and a lot more affordable. so if you have severe anxiety i would recomend the klonopin but if you need something for just a little while then the ativan may work for you. discuss it with your doc and they can help you find what is right for you. hope that this helps

Sleeping pills: Ambien, Trazadone, Lunesta
Anti-anxiety: Ativan, Klonopin,
ADHD disorder: Adderall
Risperdal is given for mood stabilization. Also it will cause lactation in men and women!!
Okay!! I think Ambien is the better sleeping pill...I don't feel drowsy in the morning and with trazadone I do! Not sure about what else you want to know because many of the medications u listed are not sleeping pills...any questions rivera2913@yahoo.com

I am guessing is what you really want to know is how they help, what are side effects and the such. I am on ambien it works but you do need to have about 8 hours after you take it before you get up and out of the house. I tend to be just a little groggy in the morning but it passes in about 30 minutes. Good thing is it is not physically addicting athough you may begin relying on it mentally. I only take it when I know I am going to have a problem sleeping or if I have not had much sleep the day before. Trazadone is addicting and it works but the person I know who was on it her personality changed. Adderall is a class 2 narcotic and although it calms the person I know a kid on it for oppisitional; disorder you can not just quit taking it. risperedal is a slep aid used mostly for anxiety, night terrors ect and it works bbut you have to find the right doseage because it sometimes clogs the sinuses and you have trouble breathing while you sleep. My suggestion is if you are planning on asking you doctor for any of these research them on the internet, They have an online PDR(Physicians Desk Reference) Book that give all the indications/counterindications and it will answer whatever I did not. Good luck. Sounds like youo are trying to make yourself healthy and there are alot of people who ignore the obvious because they do not want to be "labeled". There is no such thing to me because when a person takes the first step that is a sign of getting better. I have had to do it myself.Oh klonapan is used alot for anxiety and restless leg syndrome. Those I know that take it are happy with the results. Remember though that not all that works for one will work for you. It is usually a test by trial and error to find what will work for you.

My goodness but you have a list of pharmacuticals there. Ambien, Lunesta are sleeping pills, they make you drowsy. Ativan and Klonopin is for anxiety. Risperadol is a drug for psychiatic problems. Trazadone is for depression. Adderall is for attention disorder. Now...why all the questions about these meds? Do you have access to these meds? Sorry but that is what I feel about you. Please, DO NOT take any of these drugs as you don't know how they are going to react with your body. These drugs are prescribed by a Dr. not to take for fun. I am sorry if I misjudged you.....actually, I am sorry for judging you, that is not my place. Please forgive me. I just want you to be SAFE and healthy. Good Luck !!!

I currently take Ambien Cr 12.5 mg and it is a wonderful drug. I really like it and I sleep really well often, most time, without any interruption during the night. You have to take it early and give yourself at least 8 hours to sleep because if you don't then you'll wake up late for work ( I learned the hard way)
I took lunesta and it did help the first week and then it did nothing for me. I constantly kept waking up during the night and not to mention it gives you a nasty aftertaste in the morning. I tried klonopin and didn't like it.
Try xanax. it's much better :)

I've had many clients on those drugs, and the are all intended for short term use. They will work fine the first week you take them, after that it takes increasing doses to achieve the same effect. As for adderall, it is not a sleeping medication at all, it is an amphetamine, most people would take that and be like on speed. It is used to treat ADD and ADHD.

Where I work there are quite a few on the perscription medications you've mentioned. Especially: Trazadone, Clonzapan & Risperdel. These I know for sure work.

Hi,
My sister tried Lunesta and found no help whatsoever except that she was drowsy all the next day and still was unable to sleep through the night. True she was diagnosed with RLS but ...

Sorry, I don't do druggies! I also don't know or associate myself with druggies anymore!
Hahahahaha. Just kidding, but all the same, it's a silver lining of truth as well.
Peace Out!
