Since when is it natural for god to turn his back on his creation without cause?

Why do I need a savior? I didn't do anything wrong, nothing that deserves eternal damnation.

Seems god likes to look down on us for no real reason other than to make us feel inferior. Why would he need us to be born naturally in sin?

Simple. Ready? Here we go:

You are correct in that you are not saved by your deeds. Yes, they matter, but they will not save you. You are saved by faith in Jesus Christ. When you die, which will happen at some point, and are being judged, this is the order of events. Are you a Christian? If the answer is "yes", then you enter the Kingdom of Heaven will be rewarded for your deeds. If the answer is "no", then none of the deeds performed during your life will make a bit of difference because you have sinned and were not saved by Christ, and you will be condemned (fire, brimstone, eternal damnation, etc.).

Short version: We all have sinned. Sin will send us to Hell. Period. Jesus Christ is the ONLY one who can save you from that, since he already took the rap for your sins over 2,000 years ago.

The only deed you are damned by is not accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.

To do this requires repenting of sin and asking Christ into your heart. Anyway, I know you weren't looking for this answer but you asked.

In the same way that "god" gets the credit for anything good, the "devil" gets the credit for anything bad.

At least the dang insurance folks still recognize natural disasters as "acts of god"... some christians don't... unless they want to slam the folks that were in the way.

really, you have never done nothing wrong, at least nothing to be condemned for?

Have you ever lied, in many Asian cultures lying is considered VERY bad, Have you never stole anything? Not even a pen or paper clip from work? that is steeling you know. Never looked at another with lust, what if the one you was looking at, partner had seen you, how would they have responded?

Thats a good point... i've always been curious as to how christians will say deeds can't get you paradise... yet say homosexul sex, etc. can land you in hell...

If their theory of saved by grace is coorect, that would have to mean it doesn't matter if you're gay, a murderer, or rapist... if you accept Christ, you're alright... you get to go to heaven anyway

It's not the deeds, it's your choice not to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Your "damned" by your unbelief and nonacceptance of God's grace, but will be judged by your deeds.

You are not dammed by your deeds.

You are dammed because we are naturally outside of God's grace. Salvation puts us in god's grace, we are born outside it.
