Do you think that if all the churches in the world got together and held a fish fry we could raise enough money to banish a major financial deficit? Maybe end poverty or find a cure for AIDS? Think about it...$5 a plate...

You have a very thoughtful point. It may be a problem with a supply of fish that large. How would the money be divided up? getting everyone involved would be difficult. It would be nice if you could get it to work.

Great Idea but all of these things could be taken care of if the Churches would start being fishers of men again.I am not talking about a few people I am talking about all who go to church.
We often get asked "How can there be a God when people are starving to death", what they don't realize is that we grow enough food in this world to feed everyone.No one should have to go hungry.So God is providing the food, its just because of mans greed that its not getting to the places that it needs to be.
Its the same with the Word of God.People are starving for it and don't even realize it.If it was being distributed as it should be many of the things you are talking about wouldn't even exist.

Yes, problem would be getting them all to get together and agree on one single organization to get the money.
