I would stay there for at least six months if not a year. Update the resume with your qualifications. And start the job hunt again. Many skills you use there will transfer to corparte world where you can make more money

YOU want money, and you accepted a job where the point of the business is not to make money??

Update the ole' resume. I'd reccommend asking the head of the NPO to suggest something. If you're a valued employee, he/she will probably want to help you, and bigshots like that know other bigshots. He'll have a favor he can call in, or know people with opportunities.

There is simply no reason to work in a job you absolutely hate! It's not fair to the organization, and it's not fair to yourself. You have a degree, you have work experience, all you need to do is start sending out your resume, and get another job. Good luck to you!
