Tornadoes. I know it might sound stupid, but I keep dreaming about them. I've had a bad experience with one when I was little, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I am terrified of them though. Everytime I see clouds I look for funnels. Anyway, I keep dreaming that they come after me. Like, for example, the other night I had a dream that it tore the roof off and just circled around me and my fiance. We held each other so tight and never let go until it went away. Weird thing is that we were ok, not hurt or anything. We got up and looked outside and it was just staying there in the road damaging everything around it. It was HUGE. It really freaked me out. Another time I was at my moms house and one big one and two little ones showed up. I was trying to get in the house and in the basement, but I ended up locked outside holding onto the doorknob for dear life. When they finally went away, dead bodies dropped everywhere. Why in the hell do I keep dreaming about these damn things?

Tornadoes represent chaos or some type of destruction which is coming. Tornadoes are symbolic of the judgement of God whether in a dream or in the physical world. Your dream is showing you that some trouble will come your way and will expose everything which is going on in your home. That's why the tornado took the roof off your house. It represents issues being "uncovered". As for the dream about you being at your mom's house. This is what your dream means: The big tornado represents some kind of trouble which will come on a larger level such as to a town or city. The two smaller tornadoes represent troubles which involve personal temptations which if not dealt with will cause personal harm but not kill you. Your dream is from God and he is warning you of trouble to come.

A traumatic experience is hard to shake. Even though you may think in time it passes, it is still in the "sleeping" part of your mind. (some people say "It's in the back of your mind.")

Something must have happened that is stressing you out and it brings out these things that you think are now forgotten. For instance, I was in an auto accident. I got hit in the rear while I was waiting for a red light. This happened quite awhile back and I wasn't really thinking about it any more until I witnessed an accident. Now, I'm checking my rear view mirror all the time to make sure the guy behind me is stopping.

So it could be anything that is bothering you at this particular time. Maybe the news about extreme weather causing havoc all over. Maybe trouble in work or school. Maybe someone you care about is ill. It could be a lot of things. Sit down and think about it. If you could figure out what it is, do something about it. If it's too much for you to handle, try talking to someone you trust about it. Venting (talking about it) is a good way to try and relieve your anxiety.

Dreams tend to manifest our deepest emotions. Yes, fear is one of them. You experienced and survived a tornado as a kid, this fear has stayed with you. Naturally, everytime you see clouds or feel a breeze, that thought will resurface. There is no sybmolism in this dream. It's just a resurfacing fear that is triggered. I think the best way to get rid of these dreams is to have an Emergency Tornado Plan. If your mind feels like it's prepared, the fear will lessen.
