A flat sales tax of about 25% on all goods and services sold with a simultaneous elimination of all current taxes. People below a certain income level would receive a check each month to cover the very basics and get by. This plan is called The Fair Tax. Check it out here:

I think we need a tax plan that is simple and doesn't allow loopholes for the rich.

A graduated income tax based on income levels.

$40,000 and under: 10%
$40,001 to $60,000: 15%
$60,001 to $130,000: 20%
$130,001 to $200,000: 25%
$200,001 to xxxx: 30%

But the tax plan is only part of it. We need to spend the money better. I would make education and health care they top priorities. I would also focus on diplomatic relations with other countries. I would be smart about it. I would educate myself and surround myself with real experts. I wouldn't bring on board friends and family unless they were real experts.
It may seem unfair to charge a higher rate to people that earn more but I see it as that they can afford to pay more. These are smart people who can continue to make more money. They are gifted. Tall and attractive people make more money than shorter and less attractive people. It's not fair at all but that's how it is.

Every taxpayer receives a $30,000.00 deduction from gross income.

No other deductions allowed for anyone.

All income over $30,000.00 is taxed at a flat percent.

Don't have the necessary facts to determine the percent.

IRS Form 4 lines
Gross Income......_____________
