IBM was growing into the world's sole communication leader. Cell or car phones were in fashion. Girls were wearing bell bottoms, hip hugger pants, jeans and even skirts. They set a fashion trend with the Twiggy and Vidal Sassoon Hair cut. Hot Pants and Mini skirts!
1967 was the year of the turtle and the turtleneck sweater. It was favored by beatniks and flower children.

1968 Rev Martin L. King was assasinated.
