I need to make a snack-appetizer-like dish for my honey to take to his Guy's night.

What would be good to make for them?

Something besides the usual buffalo wings!

Thanks!

Guys love both of these...

Pigs in a Blanket

1 package small cocktail wieners
1/2 cup shredded colby jack cheese
2 packages crescent rolls
favorite barbecue sauce for dipping

Unroll crescent rolls.
Cut each crescent roll into thirds, making 3 small, long triangle strips.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over triangles.
Starting at one end, roll hot dogs in crescent.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with barbecue sauce or ketchup for dipping.

Potato Skins:

3 medium sized baking potatoes - russetts
non stick cooking spray
1/2 cup colby jack shredded cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
sour cream and pico de gallo to garnish

Preheat oven to 400°.
Place potatoes in oven and bake for one hour or until the are fork tender.
Set aside to cool.
When they are cool enough to handle, cut the center 1/2 inch from the potato by slicing twice. One slice on the right side of the middle and one slice on the left side of the middle. This will leave you with three pieces; two edge pieces and one middle piece approximately 1/2 inch thick. You do not need need the middle piece for this recipe. Save it for a different potato dish.
Turn the oven to 450°.
With a spoon, scoop out the inside flesh of the potato skins, leaving approximately 1/4 inch on the sides.
Spray the whole potato with non stick cooking spray.
Place on a cookie sheet cut side up and bake for 12 minutes or until the edges begin to brown.
Sprinkle a small amount of cheese on each potato skin.
Sprinkle on the bacon and top with one tablespoon of pico de gallo and the remaining cheese.
Place back in the oven for a couple of minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Serve warm with sour cream and extra pico de gallo.

This gets rave reviews from EVERYONE:

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients:
1 block of cream cheese
1 small jar Maries Blue Cheese Dressing
2 roasted hot buffalo chicken breast chopped into small pieces (I usually get the frozen kind (like Tyson) in the frozen food section)
1/4 cup of Frank's hot sauce
8oz package of shredded cheddar cheese (orange and white)
2 bag of Fritos scoop chips

Directions:
Microwave cream cheese in serving dish for 30 seconds.
Spread evenly in the serving dish.
In a medium bowl mix entire jar of Maries dressing, chopped chicken breast, 1/4 cup of hot sauce.
Pour mixture over the cream cheese.
Put the shredded cheddar cheese on top of mixture.
Cover with aluminum foil.
Cook for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Serve with Fritos scoop chips.

Different from same old wings, but it still has a wing-type flavor for those who might miss it.

What you will need are: Tortillas Cream Cheese Bell peppers (Orange, Red, Yellow) One of each should suffice. Salt Pepper Lemon Juice Take out the seeds from the bell peppers and dice them up into small bits. Mix in the salt, pepper and a bit of lemon juice. Now take out a tortilla and spread cream cheese on it, sprinkle some of the bell pepper mixture on to the cream cheese covered tortilla and roll it up. Cut up the tortilla like you would a loaf of bread. It's healthy and you can make four or five tortillas and you end up with a really good finger food.

I have a great recipe for Fiesta Dip.....a 16 oz cont of sour cream a packet of Hidden Valley Fiesta mix 1/2 of small can of chopped black olives and shredded cheese....you can basically add or take out what you want to suit your taste....it's excellent with some tortilla chips...I never have left overs when I take it somewhere.....if you need more just add more sour cream....you really only need half the pack of fiesta mix...but like I said just add until it tastes how you want!!! Good Luck!

Try bean dip. It is the biggest hit with my husbands friends. Two cans of refried beans in a 9x11 glass or aluminum pan. In a separate bowl mix 16oz of sour cream with equal mayo (not miracle whip) and a packet of taco seasoning. layer that on the beans. Top generously with shredded cheese (2 packs of mexican cheese mix is what I use). Then chop green onion, tomatoes (no seeds) and black olives and place on top. It great and they don't even have to use a plate!

My guy loves stuffed mushrooms, just big enough to shove the whole thing in at once. If you can, get them just a tad too big so they all look like chipmunks and can't talk for two minutes, then change the channel on the tv. Don't forget the camera.

Chili served as a dip using Freito Scoops. My husbands friends love this. They will add cheese, onions, etc and make it a meal too.

Layered Dip: Bottom is refried beens, then sour cream, then salsa, then top with cheese and onions. Serve with tortilla chips.

For guys you can't go wrong with a 7 layer dip. You spread refried beans, salsa, cheese, lettuce, green onion, sour cream and then more cheese on a plate and send it with a bag of chips. Spring for the thick chips like Mission Tortillia that are hearty enough to hold a lot of dip. (guys like manly chips)
