Could she of gotten my license plate number and called the police? Could i get a ticket? What is the probability of that happening? It was an accident!!!!

This is the answer to Susans question...
what happened was there was a truck out front of me. I had just pulled up and he started going. So i started going, but he was just going to take a right onto a side street a few feet up to avoid the stop. So after he turned right..i was still moving when i realized that he was just turning and did not get the ok to go. Than the cross walk lady started yelling...and i got embarrassed and just kept going..no kids were around just the bus was stopped with the bus stop sign out.

Pay attention next time...I highly doubt you will be reported. You might want to take a different route for a week or so...to avoid the bus and the crossing guard. It was an honest mistake...but it could have been bad if a kid some how ran out or whatever.............

What bothers me (and probably everyone) about this is your complete failure to admit you were wrong and admit what you could have done (or not done) to avoid running your car thru a school crosswalk.

Your concern was NOT "I could have killed a child"..... It was and continues to be "Am I gonna get a ticket?"... "Am I gonna get away with this?"

If the parent of a child who regularly uses that crosswalk had seen you do that, they might have yanked you out of that car and slapped you silly... which may be what you deserve.

Bottom line here is you were either not paying attention, or you were in a hurry to get somewhere.

Please step up and be a woman about this. Stop trying to get out of it and realize you could have really devastated some family had your timing been just a little different.

You should go back to that crosswalk, and apologize to that guard. Go to a nice restaurant, purchase a $40 gift certificate and give it to the crossing guard. Let her know that in the future you will always appreciate what they do.

Chances are the crossing guard, the bus driver, and every child on the bus took down your license plate number.

I live in PA. In our state, you are looking at a hefty fine and a license suspension. If you did it, there is no way out of it.

If they got your tag number you could be in more trouble than just a ticket.....atleast in the state I live in. You should have been paying better attention and someone could have been killed! Im sure you dont want to live with that for the rest of your life.

It is very likely she has your number and yes, she will call the police and you may get a ticket.
You could call the school and explain what happened. That would at least show your are concerned about it. If you are cited that call could be in your favor in court.

yes, she could. and i would suggest paying very close attention when you are driving. you could get a ticket and there are some states that are really hard on people, they don't care how much of an accident you think it is they will write you a big ticket.

They are pretty good at getting plate numbers or car descriptions! I wouldn't be surprised if you get something in the mail or a knock on your door.

Yah, you should have gotten a ticket. 'Accidents' are what kills the kids at bus stops.

I hope so. You need to lose your license for a year so no more "accidemts" happen. Wouldn't want a kid killed due to your "accident"
