If a person you are seeing moves abroad for a year and before going states:

"It was brief, but nice. I wish I had told you this sooner, but I think I am in love with you."

Um, wtf are they really saying?

Next time ask them, I can only assume he was trying to tell you he loved you, now its obvious from the way he states it, it wasn't met to really say theres a relationship coming as much as string you along to the possiblity. In the realm of the heart when we don't say what we mean we tend to feel it, if he really was feeling strong about having you for more then just being romantic, he could of, should of, would of said much, much more. Don't let them fool you, the truth does sound good, but theres a lot more to it, and it doesn't leave us asking questions.
