I bottled a batch of beer the other night but before I did I ran the bottles through the dishwaswer with dishwashing detergent...I kept the heat on to sanitize them....Someone told me that was ok but I should not have used the detergent. Do you think the beer will be ok?

they should be ok. personally...i rinse out each bottle after drinking it. that way there is no sediment to dry on the bottom. then i store the bottles in a beer case. when it's time to bottle the next batch, i put 60 bottles in a large plastic tub filled with no rinse sanitizer. then i take them out one by one and bottle from there.

It should be fine. It might taste a little different but it won't ruin it, good luck with your beer brewing.

as long as its rinsed off i really dont see an issue ...thats like saying you cant eat off of your dishes after you wash them..just rinse them out a couple times after you take um out
