wait, a person spun out on meth, actually planned and then carried out something? wierd.
Next time call the cops.
You can try homeschooling, switching schools, some schools offer online courses you might check with your school board

and Press charges against the nut-job

What you need to do is talk to someone about the girl, that she planned to beat you up, and that you suspect she was coming off meth at the time. It is her, not you, who should have to be making major changes over this.

Go to your parents, your teachers, your principal, as many people as it takes to see that something gets DONE about it.

If they do nothing, you can technically call the police and press charges, because she assaulted you, and that's against the law.

I understand your feelings, though. I actually spent my last week of my senior year at home, and took my exams in a private environment, because some kids were threatening me in a major way.

There aren't any changes you can make without getting your parent's consent and/or support. You can't just decide not to go back, in other words. And you can learn about private schools all you want, but if they don't give you permission to change schools, or won't pay the tuition for a private school, you won't get to go.

Your options, if you choose not to get this girl in trouble (and I think you should... she shouldn't be allowed to behave that way and scare you out of your right to a good education), are to transfer to another public school, to attend a private school, to home school, or to look around in your area for an "alternative school". These are a totally different set-up than a classroom setting. They're usually a work-at-your-own-pace kind of deal, where tutors do the one-on-one work with you, and there are a few teachers that help along, and assign work. I once tutored at one for about a year and a half.

Have you talked to your parents about what has happened? Or talked to a teacher that you trust?

Be honest with one or both of those options so someone can do something.

Bullying is illegal in school. This person or persons involved need to be reported and punished. If you stay quiet nothing will be done.

Also your parents can press charges against the person/persons that did this.

go to the principal of your school with your concerns and tell them you are afraid to come to school. It is reasonable for you to expect school to be safe and if this person is not in any trouble, then I am wondering if you have fully reported this incident and if so if its been effectively investigated.

they do have alternative schools in many districts, but if you are a typical student being harassed by a meth addict, the meth addict is the one that needs to leave your school, not you.

What did your parents say when you told them?

You need to let your parents know. Then they should go to the school and let the principal know that this is unacceptable. All your teachers should be made aware of the situation so that they can keep you separate from this girl.

Why is this girl after you?

You have to go to school somewhere, and if your parents can't afford private school it will have to be public school.

Also you should learn how to fight. I don't believe kids should be fighting in school, but you need to know how to defend yourself.

Unless you are beyond the age, where it is required that you attend school, you only have 3 options. 1. Return to that school. 2. Transfer to another school. 3. Go to a private school.

You could maybe speak to your parents and hear if theres any way that you can be home schooled. I dont think its a good idea to go back. You might still be a target.

i would suggest looking on the internet to see if there is a youth challenge academy in your area. i was at the maryland freestate challenge academy, but i got kicked out for fighting with another cadet. the challenge program is a good program, though. you should invest in looking into it.
