i met this guy a few weeks ago out in town. we swapped numbers and have been texting ever since!
he hasnt asked me out yet and its been around 2 weeks now.
he says he likes me.
is he just after 1 thing???

2 weeks and he hasn't asked you out for a drink yet?! Maybe he has a girlfriend or something. Have you read he's just not that into you? Read it and don't bother with this guy! You deserve to be asked out!

I am not sure what do you really mean by '1 thing'. If you are pointing at sex! Well it start every thing so it has to be that thing. But you will have to wait to know what exactly he is after. As relationships don't just happen.

Why don't you ask him out and find out?
It is possible that he likes you but is too shy to make the first move, and he might welcome an informal suggestion from you.
If by on thing you mean SEX , he isn't that confident is he?
I suppose it is possible that you might find him sexually attractive and perhaps then it would be you might then be after " 1 thing"?

have you met up with him since you saw him in town? if not and he is only texting you then i would be quite suspicious, particularly if he says he likes you but isnt making an effort to go out of his way and prove it. a lot of men who are like this tend to have girlfriends etc, im talking from experience as ive known a lot of boys like this. i think you should text him and see where its going, if he likes you enough to meet up and take things further etc. if he makes excuses or messes you about then stop texting him, he is just wasting your time. although he could be genuine and just taking things slowly. as long as you try and find out whats going on in his head then whatever's supposed to happen will happen.
