The dream opens with the last picture I saw before I closed my eyes to sleep. I am in my room, lying in my bed, and I know that I am dreaming. Then some creatures appear. They are small, maybe 2 feet, and they look like they are made out of air, I just know they are there. They giggle, and then they grab my arms and legs, and lift me off my bed, and start spinning me round like I were a rag doll. And I know that I am dreaming, and I also know that I must move one of my limbs in order to wake up, but I cant. I am paralised, I try to move my body but I have no control over it. Usually, I manage in the end to move an arm and I wake up.

I think it is a dream about control. What do you think? Thank you

Quite the opposite, I sleep like the deaths. Those that saw me sleeping claim that I looked like a vampire in a casket! Haha

I had no idea about old hag symdrome, so I am not the only one, hm. Thanks everybody

Maybe this is somehow related to other nightmares I have. Once while I was away for a week, I dreamed that there was a man dressed in black in a corner looking at me. This lasted for a week, everytime I went to sleep. It was so frightening that I was scared to fall asleep.

I told somebody about it (a witch), and she made me do a spell, and it went away. Was it only my mind playing tricks with me?

I'll leave the deep psychological/spiritual interpretation aspect to others, but there are some physiological aspects to this.

Part of the process of going to sleep involves the shutting down of muscular responses to dreaming minds, if not we would hurt ourselves! ;) You've probably noticed dogs twitching their legs when they dream?

As you say that you are aware of dreaming (lucid) I'm assuming that it is shortly after going to bed, and is as you say possibly a fear of losing control to some extent - perhaps the creatures are the "sleep fairies" trying to carry you off to dreamland?Anxiety may be a cause of this, but I'd also be curious to know if you snore or have sleep apnoea - the shallow sleep and sensation of dizziness may be indicating this (I've had similar experiences).

In short, if you're aware of angst in your life then look at that - it needs to be dealt with. If not, you may have a physiological issue that may equally need to be looked into.
Best of luck, I hope you get some good sleep soon!

Deja vu. It occurs to me each of the time. once, I had a dream even as i replaced into 3 that i replaced into 9 and sitting on a swing even as looking down in lighting fixtures that replaced into that of a sunset. certain sufficient, 6 years later it handed off. I commonly get like 2 a month. this is continuously a psychological phenomenon, yet my psychology instructor commented that my adventure with the swing might want to were supernatural, so your's might want to correctly be a imaginative and prescient. (I extraordinarily doubt that mine replaced into supernatural nonetheless. It had genuinely no impact on me except to adventure it.)

It sounds like dream paralysis/ old hag's syndrome, one becomes paralysed and has hallucinations of other beings in the room.....however, if you feel that your waking life is out of control, or that others are controlling you, and feel helpless to do anything about it, that could also be manifesting in your dreams....

before going further, do you sleep late? or stressed? or did you ever involved yourself into demonic activties like playing cards, cursing, etc. or are fun of watching horror movies?
hm in my own part, nightmare occurs when you are stressed, undersleep (you are having hallucinations), watching horror movies which appears in your dream.

getting involved in demonic activities or simply just glorifying the devil have the guts to attack you maybe physically, or spiritually through physical force and even through dreams. Don't worry if the devil could attack you, just think that God will never leave you nor forsake you just leave a room for God to work in you.

if you met one or two in those questions, try to reflect and avoid them.

Try thinking of something... it might help, BUT DON'T THINK ABOUT THAT DREAM!! And try to move one of your limbs a lot in your dreams, because that might help.
