Is it possible to get a job in a laboratory without a scientific degree? If so what is the title of said position and how would one go about getting said position (not test subject)

"Medical and clinical laboratory technicians generally have either an associate degree from a community or junior college or a certificate from a hospital, a vocational or technical school, or one of the U.S. Armed Forces. A few technicians learn their skills on the job".

You could be a general laborer, I guess, but why don't you get off your lazy keister and get a degree?
