It is sucrose or table sugar - a disaccaride sugar normally obtained from sugar cane or sugar beets. It consists of one 5 carbon ring sugar (fructose) and one 6 carbon ring sugar (glucose)

I think that's what it's called. It is a golden colored granular type sugar. I like it because it is closer to cane sugar. I think it might also have some molasses in it, giving it a darker color. But its too light to be called brown sugar. It's supposed to be healthier for you.
