Sorry to have to break it to you, but no one here knows you personally. We don't know what's going on with you and your ex-girlfriend, therefore no one will be able to tell you how you should talk to her. You're going to have to be more specific if you want adequate answers. Also, this is the Weddings category. You're probably better off in Singles & Dating for a question about an ex-girlfriend.

Call her up and say sorry for what ever happened.
Do you wanna get back with her or be friends?
If you want to get back with her, ring her and apologize for what went wrong and say that the time you were away from her, made you think clearer what you want and that you have changed and that you missed her and thought about her very much, listen to what she has to say and understand her feelings.
If you want to be friends with her then call her up and also apologize for what happened say that you want to be friends and hang out together sometimes. If she doesnt want to be friends respect the answer.
