Olive oil is healthier than butter for most things.Butter is always better for baking cakes and biscuits etc; For everything else such as meat, fish, chicken and all poultry olive oil is the best and when cooking roast potatoes the taste is lovely and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. It is also a must for salads as a dressing.

Olive oil is the healthier of the two. Canola oil is also a good choice.

Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and low in cholesterol. Butter has a high fat content and is high in cholesterol. Butter has a better taste. I would go with an extra virgin olive oil.

Olive oil has less saturated fats, although many doctors believe we need small amounts of saturated fat to guard against some conditions such as asthma. If you want to limit the kilojoule content of your cooking, grill without any fats or oils.

Olive oil.
There is a spray oil available in most good supermarkets that only contains about 1 calorie each spray!

Use canola oil instead for health benefits, but I have Camellia oil (Tea oil) it has less fat per 100g if that's what you're worried about.
