Could a pit manouver be done by a police car on another car that has ESP?

would it work, or would the car with ESP recover from the pit attempt and get back on track like its supposed to do ?

The PIT (Pursuit Intervention Technique) Maneuver probably would work on a car with ESP. The ESP is quick, but it responds to gradual changes in steering and direction of the car.

The PIT technique is a sudden jolt to the back of the car, with extreme force. It is probably too sudden and too severe of a force for the ESP system to compensate for.
