YOu havn't given me much to go on but. Sometimes giving a young man a cerimony of manhood with a change of resposibilities and rewards or something. Give him somthing you would not let him hav before. Like oh I don't know a cell phone this will help keep him safe to, or a bike or boxing lessons. I think this would be a great time to get him driving lessons ( if that's legal in your country) Help him become more independent and find out what he wants and help him get there, read up on it. Oh Sorry this is the best I could do. At 16 I wanted things like skateboards, bikes, walkmans (now we got ipods it's like a walkaman). ooooo a camera, I mean a really good camera.

I have a 16 year old son, and he would love wi or a laptop. Best suggestions, to my mind. Lad mags and stripper? What planet are you on last respondent? Says more about you than anything else I think.

I think that there are two things that I think would be sutible and a drastic measure: the drastic measure will be told later. Anyway, why not get him a Laptop? nobody hates computers, and get a Laptop in his favorite color! Or, a dog/cat/bird/hamster/guiniea pig. Or anything that you think he would like as a pet. And, (this is only avaliable in America) a car. He has to get his driver's licence first, but get him this to show you believe he will drive beautifly.

You want to know what's really funny? Before I finished reading your paragraph, I thought you should get him a trampoline. I vote trampoline, because you can get side walls to protect people from falling out. I babysat two 4 year olds and a 6 year old and they had a mini trampoline, and never got injured. They LOVED their trampoline. Good way to stay in shape!

Some stain remover for his bed sheets, a page three girl calendar and finally a Wii. At least he can pretend to be shaking his Wii remote if you enter the room without knocking!

If he does not have his drivers license I would pay for him to go to driving school so he can get it. My parents gave me that for my 16 b-day present and I loved it. it let me know that they trusted me enough to have my own license
