I am fuming. I was standing waiting to cross the road when a bus pulled upto park, he wasn't picking up passengers he just parked the f***ing thing. I don't normally confront people but this was dangerous as he had blocked my vision so i couldn't see the cars coming behind him, when i asked him "how the hell am i supposed to cross the road now" he told me to go and find a pelican crossing, so i told him to p*** off. i don't feel very proud of myself for loosing my temper but i did feel like hitting him. I am still shaking with the rage. Now i am going to report him but what good will that do?

1 hr and a coffee later i've calmed right down. It's his problem he's an arrogant jerk not mine. I won't let him ruin my day.

your case just happens to be 2 heads in temper that day, fire and fire = fire.
Not all bus drivers are rude or rudest people ever. Here in Switzerland, the bus drivers are helpful to old people and respectful.
I believe due to pressure/tension/demand of the day at times people like you or any other driver - bus driver or not... at times one's language is "unguarded" when fired out especially if you think you are right or he is right.
Calm down and if I were you, just leave this experience as a lesson to learn not to lose temper.
Losing temper invites another rancour reaction from the other party.
If you report him, he may lose his job and who knows he has probable kids to feed.
Anyway... you know better what you need to do next time.

I've had a few run ins with bus drivers..... Some are just plain cruel for no reason. Others though have been real gems! Real mix bag of people.
I doubt it makes them happy being rude to people, if they were helpful, polite cheery even then they would enjoy their job more. Nothing nicer then that warm fussy 'I'm a nice guy' feeling!
Its not even as if they get paid badly either is an alright wage!
No excuses...
I say make a complaint, if enough are made against one driver then action is normally taken.
I've been on a bus twice where the driver has pulled over jumped out and brought a chocolate bar or a giant cookie! SERIOUSLY. Thats wrong. Two different drivers as well!!! Not diabetic cos eating a cookie that big with make sugar levels soar... oh and both sat and eat their snack with a bus load of peopel waiting to get home! Madness.

You have to realize that bus drivers (as well as people in government offices, department of transportation offices, fast food restaurant employees, etc) deal with jerks -all- day.
There are people out there that will be rude for no reason whatsoever. Either they're insane, have had a bad day, or really...just, anything...people that work as a bus driver have to deal with them. Imagine if you had to drive people like that around -all- day. Surely someone could say, "Well, don't have that job then. Get a new one," but the fact of the matter is that there will always be bus drivers. How about we all stop furthering hate? Be nice to people even when they're mean to you. It's really not that hard. :(
If he was doing something hazardous, by all means he should be reported; however, think long and hard before you do something rash. Anger is no excuse for doing something stupid, just because you think that you can get someone in trouble for pissing you off.

I bet you haven't been to Malta yet. The drivers here are so rude. They're never on time sometimes they're an hour late leaving you in the sun waiting or they just don't stop at all.
And you should see their uniform in summer ie an open shirt and and shorts that's just gross as most of them are really fat !
It wouldn't be the first time that a driver kicks someone out of the bus because they have the wrong change or because they're foreigners. Over the years you came to hate using buses and have to get own transport you have no choice here.

Having been a bus driver for a couple of years for stagecoach, until you actually do the job you do not realise how stressful the job is!! . When your running late(normally caused by traffic jams!) you pull up at a stop and there moaning! . You explain, traffic hold ups, next stop, more whining! 10 stops later, the driver has had enough!! .You try driving a bus, i can assure you it not easy, 40ft long and the whining general public!! And why did you not use crossing?

Not had much to do with taxi drivers then? In our book THEY are the worst. They all think they own the road. If you give way to a taxi driver don't ever expect to get a thankyou, well you might expect one but you won't get it!! Bus drivers are a close 2nd but they've got a way to go before they take the crown. No doubt there will be the (male) drivers who will say that women are the worst but unfortnately there are some women who prove them right! So our award for worst drivers go to....taadaa..taxi drivers.
