Faith is the most precious commodity, without which it is impossible to please God. You may hope to get into His good books by doing things the way you think they should be done, but if you don't believe He is there, what would be the point? On the other hand, faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Hands up anyone who has no mountains that need moving.

"Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." Heb. 11:1
True faith is not credulity, that is, a readiness to believe something without sound evidencee or just because a person wants it to be so. Genuine faith requires basic or fundamental knowledge, acquaintance with evidenc, as well as heartfelt appreciation of what that evidence indicates. Thus, although it is impossible to have real faith without accurate knowledge, the bible says that it is "with the heart" that one exercises faith. Rom. 10:10
Faith is a fruit of God's spirit, and God gladly gives his spirit to those who seek it.( Gal. 5:22; Luke 11:13)

Faith is:
1. Believing in action, receiving the gift of salvation from God, even Lord Jesus, John 3:14-18! To unbelievers: how can they act?
2. Believing to things that are hopeful, Romans 8:24-25; Romans 15:4; 1Corinthians 9:10 ( having confidence in future). To unbelievers: no vision at all in regards to life after death, never hopeful, die today, die tomorrow, same die, kinda and type of person!
3. A confidence to a Mighty Creator God, Eph 3:12; 1John 3:21! Amen. Romans 1:17., To unbelievers: no confidence at all?
4. Obeying the things of God and Lord Jesus! (for if we don't obey His commandments and teaching, Matthew 22:37-40- then we don't have faith in God!). To unbelievers : why do i?
5. Trusting God and Lord Jesus, Psalms 112:7. To unbelievers trusting their ownselves and their own self-righteousness!
6. Understanding and having the desire to know the things of Mighty Creation of God and Lord Jesus, 2Timothy 2:15; John 5;39; Matthew 6;33; Matthew 7:7; Matthew 4:4; Luke 4:4! To unbelievers: Do not want to understand at all, so they don't have faith to boast in the things of God, yet they are proud of themselves and self- exaltation!
7. Walking and practicing the things of God and Lord Jesus, Romans 8:1; 2Corinthinas 5:7; 2Corinthinas 6;16; Gal 5;16; Gal 5;25; Ephesians 2:10;5:2; 5:8;Colossians 1:10;Colossians 2:6;1Thessalonians 4:1; 4:12; 2John 1:6. To unbelievers: how can they walk and practice, for they don't believe and have faith?

Believing in something and the impsssible to see it come forth. For instance believing in God, Cause without faith it is impossible to please him. So faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. You can have faith to receive a million dollars and not doubt and get it.

like saying I have faith that I that my wife will come here thursday and we will be together again. Believing in what you cannot see nor no for sure. Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
So that means right there that by believing in God without needing proof you are saved from hell. Also that works do not get you to heaven.

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1)
Making sure and being certain are intellectual pursuits as well as based on spiritual experience.

Faith is self evident and can be tested. always having the same outcome expected, tangible proof is either not sought or unsupportive . ..Not required for the result. Remains unchanging , and deep routed in belief, not needing to be proven or lacking in proof needed.
