Like most university towns in the U.S.A., Seattle tends to be fairly liberal. I am from Arizona and was disappointed with the cold and wet climate because the people tended to be "couch potato's" and I was used to an active, outdoor lifestyle. The people I met while living there for a year were friendly and helpful. The population has great ethnic and cultural diversity - something for everyone.

,Seattle is one of the most liberal cities in the USA any doubt check out the homeless population, drug use, protests of that horrible corporation Starbucks lack of sun and too much rain must be the cause.
