I have a bitdefender anti virus (Ver 10) installed on my system. but as the trial period expired, i uninstalled and reinstalled it. but still it is saying that the anti virus trial period expired and thus not functions..i guess, some registry tweak will allow it working even after 2nd/more no. of installations. can any one have an idea? pl help

installing trial version programs is a pain, you can uninstall it through add and remove programs, but that does not get rid of the details in the registry,

go to start. click on run, type in... regedit ..... look for programs, scroll down to it, click on it to open it up look for bitdefender and delete the folder.

Also look in other places in the registry for other mentions of bitdefender, and delete those also.. then try to install it again..
