The devil is looking for ways to trap mankind and drag people down to hell so he can have some company. The only way you can escape hell is if you accept Jesus Christ as your saviour, and live like he did. It's really hard and you will get mocked for it, but what's a lifetime of mocking compared to an eternity burning in hell? I hope you make the decision to accept Christ.
