What is the cc or engine size of your car
if its a under a 1.549 then for 6 months it about £63
if its over 1.549 its £99 for 6 months.

It depends on the date in 2001 the car was first registered, and the engine and transmission your Beetle has.

If registered before 1st March 2001 (X-reg) it will be taxed according to engine size, in the "over 1549cc" band, at £99 for 6 months.

If registered on or after 1st March 2001 (Y-reg or 51-reg) it will be taxed according to its official CO2 emissions, which will be different for the different versions of the Beetle:
1.6 petrol manual - 185g/km - Band E - £90.75
1.6 petrol auto - 209g/km - Band F - £112.75
All other petrol versions - 209 to 228 g/km - Band F - £112.75
