If you are having a very relaxed wedding but not for a formal wedding. I don't think hashbrowns are appropriate for weddings though but each to their own. Why don't you like cake? If you don't want a traditional wedding cake, why not think of a more relaxed, less traditional wedding cake? Or cupcakes? I would not recommend hashbrowns but do what you want it's your wedding.

Hashbrowns don't sound like a suitable dessert to me. I would consider something else for a dessert for my wedding. Serve the hashbrowns as part of the meal but find something bettter for dessert.

I really hope you're joking. If the issue is cost, you can BAKE a cake or cupcakes or brownies. But hasbrowns?! It wouldn't matter how glamorous or classy your wedding is, the hashbrowns are tacky. Period.

Do you want them to be talking behind your back? That just sounds silly. Out of place. Hashbrowns is NOT cake.

But hey, make yourself happy.

How about potato pancakes (latkas)? You could at least make them sweet.

Um, if you're having a wedding brunch, you can include hashbrowns. And if you don't want cake, specifically, offer danishes instead.

I love hash browns but aren't they savoury??? I don't think that is such a good idea, go with mini muffins, cupcakes, or individual cheesecakes or fruit tarts instead of hash browns.
