it's genetic. why are you trying to change your child's complexion? You should just be happy that your child is healthy. Many are not as fortunate. Stop trying to prejudice your son through your insecurities.

Well.. the bigger question is WHY?
Your son is a unique individual. If he had a 'handicapp' like a cleft palate or webbed fingers, then fine.. some kind of repair is in order.. but a dark complexion.. that's sounds more like a problem that YOU have with him rather then one that HE has.
Sorry to be so blunt.. but the alternate is to create another Michael Jackson.. and one is too many for this planet.
When your son is older.. HE can decide if he needs something to be done.. til then.. give him a good life...friend.. love.. etc.. and dont ever mention this again.

Ludicrous, that's what this is. Your son does not have a problem, but you certainly do. Don't make him feel he's less of a human because of his skin color - how very cruel!
Skin color is a genetic trait, can't change that. I feel badly for the little one, but I'm deeply concerned over your psychological issues. Perhaps you may use the help of a therapist. Is your son happy and healthy? That's all you need. And be careful... kids pick up more than we think. In time he could start sensing your insecurity and perhaps even begin to feel inferior, unable to measure up to your "standards". What a shame that would be!

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to give you instructions on how to abuse your son. He is the way he is intended to be. Enjoy him.
P.S.- I understand that it may not be culturally desirable to have a dark complexion in some Asian countries, but there's really nothing that you can do about it that won't harm him. Please be satisfied that you have a healthy and handsome child.

I was watching Oprah, with Dr. Oz - he said (and proved) that eating tomato (paste) will keep the sun from penetrating and making skin darker, it also faded freckles.
Lemon juice mixed 1/2 and 1/2 with water will lighten your skin.
To get rid of dark spots I rub a tomato (the top part when I first slice it) on the area, it gets rid of the dark spots, naturally
Skin bleach on young (or old) skin my cause irritation

Are you serious?!?!?! You should love your son for what he is and don't try to change him. I can guarntee he can tell you don't like his "dark" complextion!! Kids can sence those things!! You should be ashamed for wanting him to be different especially because you were a part of making him who he is!!! If you weren't and he was adopted you shouldn't have adopted from another race if you were so afraid of him "fitting" in to your vision of your perfect child!!

Now I’m not one to judge but WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? Do not bleach your son skin mainly because he is too young to be exposed too that amount of chemicals and plus the bleaching product might have mercury in it so don’t. But if you want you’re son to be fair skinned tell him no to play I the sun too much and make sure he wears long sleeve clothes..... hope it helps but please learn to accept you’re son for what he is not for what he looks like!!!

Clear Essence is new and I have heard a lot about them, so they may be the way to go. Also, on my source, there is a list of products that have been around for a loooooong time in the African American community. Usually, when people would like to fade/lighten, they use our products.

There's no healthy way to change this! As long as your baby is healthy and happy, why does it matter?!
