I find it ridiculous and rather pathetic that my cousin actually thinks she is much more brilliant than other people because she has good grades. Her school does not even have a strong curriculum and I've seen her work, it's horrible. So do you believe that grades actually measure intelligence??

Any Grading mechanism itself is flawed. Even if it appears to be good, people who are authorised to grade themselves are prone to upheavels of emotions and sentiments. If an authorised person does not like someone who is smart (his own personality is not so smart or he is elevated to grading level due to various flawed reasons), he grudgingly down grades the other person.

I honestly don't think that grades are the best way to measure the intelligence of a person, what I do believe is that if a school has a good curriculum and good study program, the grades will show you what level you are at and what you need to do to improve.

Grades are ridiculous. Simple as that. Of course they dont measure intelligence, all schools do are prepare someone for a job. It doesnt make you intelligent. The most part of intelligence is things you've learned by yourself, not only work. Maturity, responisbily...that's intelligence.
