I am from West Delhi and my friend want to marry in a temple due to some financial problem but we don't find any temple near by and one we find but they are charging 2100 for hall booking but we have only 10 person to attend that marriage so there is no use for that hall. So please suggest me any temple which conducting marriages in temple (Only faire). Thanks in advance and waiting for your sincere reply in this regards.

Rates given to you Rs2100/- for the marriage are the most reasonable & affordable if it is in a Hindu Sanatan Temple. Marriage in Arya Samaj Mandir charges range upto Rs5100/- or even more. Marriage before the Marriage officer under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 may cost you not less then Rs10000/- even more if the marriage officer insists for newspaper publications of the notice for such marriage. The other option before you is to get the Hindu Priest perform such Hindu Marriage in your or his or any one's home & pay him his charges which may be Rs501 to Rs1100/- or what ever he ask for this, but in such a marriage he may not be able to give a Temple marriage certificate, that may be required for the registration of such marriage. Yes one thing more I want to tell you where ever you marry whether in Temple or home just get some Gazetted officer a witness to such marriage as his witness will be only valid & required in case you want to get this marriage registered under section 8 of the Hindu Marriage Act,1955 in Delhi, which although is not compulsory at the moment but very soon this will be made a compulsory provision as per the Supreme Court of India directions to the government of India & even the government is considering it to be made compulsory for any marriage to be valid. Second point do remember this marriage you get preformed in Delhi can be registered only in Delhi, now don't ask me if it can be got registered in Gurgaon or any other near by town. In Gurgaon only Hindu marriages being preformed in Gurgaon district are ONLY REGISTERED BY THE MARRIAGE REGISTRAR/TEHSILDAR UNDER SECTION 8 OF THE HINDU MARRIAGE ACT, 1954 & NO COMPROMISE ON THIS RULE. Thirdly always take photographs of the marriage ceremonies that will also be required for registration purpose. Lastly do invite parents of both side to be witness of such marriage as there blessings are always good for newly wedded couple.

Temples In Mumbai For Marriage

SORRY! I am not from Delhi. You must look for some temple in small localities of the NCR. But unfortunately money would always be a consideration.

Let me suggest that the marriage should also be registered legally, apart from the ritual being performed in a temple. If there are no religious issues involved, you may try some Gurdwaaraa Sahem (Sikh Place of Worship).
