Don't you know that the whole point of trying to avoid sin is to preserve peace and harmony with one another and to establish you as an person of integrity? Also it helps avoid that spiritual interference we get when we try to pray for something that we really want or need.

He knew before you did that you were or were not going to commit adultery. What does He need with a record? You're here because you need to find out what you'll do with a life, since He already knows.
Oh, and adultery is a horrible thing because it destroys families and makes a mockery of the gift and ability to have children.

Yes, and everything else too. Repent and ask for Jesus to give you the strength not to do it again. You have to ask though.
I and a friend had some terrible habits. I asked God for help and got it. I couldn't do it in my own strength.
My friend on the other hand wanted the sin more than the freedom from that sin - so that person is still bound.
It's your choice. God does give us free will after all. Of course I could no longer associate with that person. We no longer have anything in common. I am still cordial. I've just moved on.

Sure does and he has a mine like a steel trap. But good news if your truly sorry and repentant he is just to forgive you of sin and I don't know how he does this (the know it all that he is) but he remembers it no more.

He's got it all on DVD. He and his mates get drunk and watch it on Friday nights. They like to have a good laugh at your spotty little bottom bouncing up and down.
Oh, and he also knows when she's faking.
