yes but don't get that cheap brand "Texas long grain" - it really sucks.

Yes, my favorite is Basmati rice in a chicken salad with dark green lettuces and Italian dressing. The rice absorbs the flavors over night in the fridge...yum!

I love all rice except brown rice. My favorite is basmati rice made with some olive oil, garlic, and chicken broth. You can do so much with it!

It's the best. My rice cooker is the best invention for 15.00 ever invented.
Add chicken broth instead of water to make a real tasty side dish.

I actually don't like it that much if it is plain, and I'd never order it if I went out to eat, I prefer noodles, but if it has loads of things in it like a risotto then I'd eat it.
