Found load of crap at his house-no not snooping-cleaning. They were left right in the public bathroom of the house along with commercial size jar vaseline. We both have kids - I mean My God- 4th drawer down nothing covering it. Anyway, didn't make a deal just broke off. Some of those pictures where a couple years older than daughter. I have suspicions, worries about that. Does anyone out there think that's scary too or do you think that - That's life and what guys do?

I wouldn't make to big a deal about it. And do you think he was using vasoline to ummm, you know? I don't know, that stuff doesn't come off easy. I'd only worry if I were you if you had a teen girl, and all his porno was teen this, and teen that. But yeah, most guys do have some porn, why don't you just ask him about it.

I would say I am pretty tolerant of porn as long as it's mainstream stuff--I enjoy looking at it myself now and again, so I would be a hypocrite to make a no porn rule for a boyfriend or husband.
However, if it were porn glorifying rape or sadism or sex with animals (or something else really sick and out there like if it were kiddie porn), obviously I'd be out the door then (and I'd turn him in to authorities for the child porn) but I think some is ok as long as it is consenting adults engaged in consentual sexual activity.
I do understand being upset about an adult not hiding it better when there are children in the house though. I wouldn't worry about your daughter just because of the porn (I think porn is a form of fantasy for most people and most can separate that from reality), but only if you have other reasons for suspecting he is sexually interested in her.
I think you probably are going to have trouble finding a guy who has no interest in pornography ever, but I wish you luck if that is what you want.

What is the big deal?! seriously i see this question so many times. I just dont understand what is the big deal with pornography? Its people having sex. Thats perfectly normal to me. I know women who watch it just like I do. Ones that even would watch it with me and we learn new stuff to do :) Now depending on how old your daughter is, like if she is very very young that might be a problem. But I figure if the "models" are 18 its no big deal.
Granted I dont look at porn as much when i am with sombody because i have her to satisfy me, but I still would, i wouldnt show the kids of course (if i had any) it would be well hidden from them.
But having said all that its not up to me but if it is your own personal belief that it is wrong then yeah you should leave. Because its probably always going to be a problem.

Well since you are not having sex with him...then guess what he has to do?
The problem is once guys have sex, they can not stop. Trust me it is normal. I do it all the time. I am not dumb enough to buy it I just watch it for free. But anyone can check my history so they would know.
I think guys do it to stay normal. I do it to stay normal. Like it would be the equivilant of not having coffee in the morning. You do it so when you see a girl you don't go crazy.

I wouldn't break up with him. So many guys do it. It's like a part of the primal urges though I would appreciate it more if he didn't. However, I would be angry if he didn't hide the porno. Young eyes and visitors don't need to stumble across it.

nicely, i've got not got a bf yet whilst i think of roughly it, I continually photograph human beings in books and flicks that i might choose him to be like, or romantic issues that i might like for him to do. lol. that is exciting to think of that your better half must be as beautiful as some characters which you spot or pay attention =]

i'm a guy. let me explain porn to you.
for almost all guys, porn is just a masturbatory aid. you look at it while you masturbate, and it makes it more fun and easier. turns you on. that's *all* it is. it's not cheating. it doesn't mean he wants another woman. he just needs something to look at while he jerks off.
very few guys actually have really weird fetishes or pornography addictions or anything like that. so don't worry about it.

That's life and what guys do. Every guy has a stash and they are discrete about it. To have your bf have that flying around is kind of a problem. Talk to him about it, tell him if hes gonna have it "put it away where no one can see it or throw them away"....but what do i know...hope i was of help

you did the right think breaking it off... that is extremely scary. unfortunately today society makes it so acceptable but I don't think it is I've told my husband before if I catch him with porno or anything like that I'll be gone before he knows it.
