I think he is either Dead or under heavy protection from either the U.S. Government or Pakistan. Either way, it doesn't matter. Our President stopped looking for him years ago to concentrate on Iraq -- he no longer cares. What a shame if he was really responsible for 9-11. We should have made our first priority catching him -- and nothing else until he was caught.

No, I do not believe he is dead. I think the US stopped their search for him to soon and he was able to escape to a safe place. I dont believe he is in Afganistan, or any Middle Eastern country for that matter. Africa, maybe, or even Europe. I think his illness might have been madeup adn exxagetated so as to lead us to believe he would eb dead very soon. We had no proof he was sick, I mean how was he 'sick?' Does anyone really know what was the matter with him? If you do, I want a reliable source. My husband is in the military and we both still feel Osama is a threat. Besides, dont you think if he was dead and the US government knew they would proclaim it a victory made by them??

As far as anyone knows he's alive but in hiding. He could be dead, but there's no confirmation of that and we more or less assume he's alive until we have a good reason to believe otherwise.
Anytime he releases an audio or video tape the analysts go through it very carefully to see if there are clues as to when it was recorded and is it really OBL, and most of the experts think he's still alive.

Well if we answer that question, then what is FBI and CIA and others are for.
America can't find a single Person, I can't believe it..
I hear all the planes that hit the towers and stuff were American Airliners. Such a bad day/thing guys.

Either he is dead, or our government is lying to us...as the CIA has claimed that the recent video was likely him.
Neither would surprise me. He looked like the walking dead as it was...but our government has proven itself to be a bunch of lying weasels...so really, I'm not sure.

He is dead but I believe that, in a way, he is very much alive as far as why we are still struggling with closure and peace and the ideas of Bin Ladden are very much alive......making him very much alive.

If he was dead and we knew about it, you better believe we would use the information to our advantage.

No, he is still alive. I suspect he is too ill to participate fully in operational planning. He is relegated to making propaganda videos and tapes.
