if the police have DNA and thay have a suspect how long dose it take to for the resolts to get back

In part it depends on how much DNA they collect...replication takes time.
Paternity testing can take as little as three days for a simple
yes/no answer.

Usually a few weeks. The stuff you see on TV's CSI is marlarkey. Some of the things they do is absurd, and some of the technology you see on that show doesn't exist yet.

Depends on the lab and what the work load is. Couple of months to a year would be the norm I suppose.


It's not like what you see on TV..............

A lot longer than they show in those CSI shows. Sometimes it can take months.
