Well if your hitting her it isn't a healthy relationship. You need to stay away from her and get yourself the counseling that you obviously need. So how you should feel about her isn't even important. She did what she should have done the first time you hit her. Hopefully she was smart enough to file a restraining order.

You deserve some hard time, you abusive bastard! Oh, I'm sorry I mistook you for him. Look, I'm a father & grandfather. The way I see it -- you're somebody's little girl, & you deserve better treatment. If he's hit you even once (w/o remorse), get away! He's obviously got too many "issues" to realize he's doing anything wrong, & it doesn't look like he's gonna change, either.
