It's sad to know that this kind of stuff happens. But I can denie it isn't true. I can relate to this sort of but my heart wasn't broekn or anything. I'm a mexican born american and two times 2 guys I date said that if I would marry them so they could get their greencard visa or whatever.

I undestand how you feel if your heart was broken.

Well, there are ONLY illegal immigrants who do stuff like that, because they can't get married to same race girl(which they want to do). They are helpless that they get married to American or other race girl than the Original and brandnew stuff. As far as I know, many people pay for this contract type of marriage. Don't they?

Ex. Indians, there are the best looking Indian girls out there. Infact most Miss and MRSs are and will be Indian.

If they had greencard and were legal why would they not married Indian or their own race.

Tell me a place where you can find a Brand New American woman or a girl better yet.

Infact I am legal; you bring me the hottest girl on US land and I will NOT give her a second look.

Sorry to get little personal and ofcourse here but I need you to face the truth.

What's do you say? You win?

Foreigners? I'm one. And I have two short stories for you guys.
1. This girl, a foreigner, was nearly getting her residency (green card) when one night her then husband abused her to the point she had to go to the police to register it. She tried again and again but she couldn't stand the verbal abuse she was going through. She gave up everything, signed a divorce and is now happy.
2. My case. I was offered the chance to stay here (NZ) by another foreigner. I had to endure verbal abuse, attacks to my culture, background and a person totally insane and out of this planet. When I got my residency (green card) I just left him. For me it was a well deserved reward for all the pain I had been put through instead of being a "breaking heart" story.
So folks, not always the "native" is an angel or the most perfect person on earth. But I believe one has to open eyes and brain to identify those who are "visa diggers".
And for those who are really in love, nothing more touching than the native try to help the foreigner.

Actually, although my boyfriend is a foreigner, he has never once approached me about assisting him with any kind of permanent citizenship. He has many other resources to do that, via his employer and he has family members who are US citizens. While it would be easier to do it through me, he won't even discuss it, on principle.
It's much easier to never worry about something if it's never an issue to be worried about......
For those who date foreign persons, eliminate the possibility by never offering or agreeing to even discuss the possibility of the person obtaining permanent citizenship through you. That may sound harsh, and certainly there are certain circumstances under which it could be considered, but overall my opinion is if both of you never consider it a possibility, then it never becomes an issue in the relationship.

Long story but it happened to my son.
She was from Hungary ( I love Hungarians and have been married to one for 33 years and even bought an apt. in Budapest)
She totally used my son for cash, prizes and the good old green card with social seruity card.
When his money was gone and her papers in hand, she screamed abuse and got away with what my husband and I consider, murder. She was a total" Black Widow Spider."
He is still going though hell years after their divorce because of her false, lies and greedy nature.I do believe in Karma and poor little girl is going to have a very hard time later.

It didn't happen to me but it happened to someone I know. She married him and a few months later she discovered that he only married her to get a green card and stay in the States. They got divorced and she told the INS and they're about to deport him now.

One. But she'll probably go to jail for it, along with her friends that have done the same. They'll learn their lessons. =o) Then they will be deported back to the craphole country they came from.
