He kind of reminds me of a great dane mix in my opinion. Hes probably a few months old and if you're looking for the owner put those pictures in the newspaper or put them up on a flyer and hang them up around town with your phone number so they can contact you. I wonder why the dog has a collar and no ID tag? not very loving or responsible on the owners part. Shame on them.

Well, obviously we would need a picture or at the very least a description of the dog to even try to make a decent guess, but no one can really say for sure. The only way to know for sure is to get a DNA test done. They have DNA tests to determine a dogs breed and it's not very expensive at all, if I remember right it's normally around $50, but they only have a few breeds to test your dog against, so your dog could be mixed with the breeds they have or the test could come back and say they don't know what breed it is. I would suggest that you call your local shelters and see if anyone has called about their dog being missing. Also, you should take it to the vet to see if by chance the someone contacted the vet looking for their dog or to see if the dog is chipped. Good luck! : )

Go to a Vet. or animal shelter and have it scanned for a microchip. You may find the owner. You say it is in good shape meaning well fed and cared for? If so it is probably someones pet and they are distraught that the dog is gone, as I would be if any of mine went missing. If no microchip make up some "Found Dog" posters with the dogs picture and place them in all the Vets offices and shelters in your area. Run a add in the paper. Where I live these adds are free.

Oh okay.. It looks part lab and maybe part shepherd.. I think that the dog is about 3 1/2 and the owner lives 3 streets north of you.. Little white house, black roof, shed out back and an old beat up chevy in the driveway... Hope I helped!
Edit : Now that you FINALLY posted a picture.. The dog does look shepherd x pitbull... Looks young tho. Post your pictures at the vet, grocery store, petstore, laundrymat etc.. With your number and someone should see them.. if they want the dog back.

Cute pup. I'd say possibly bully breed (maybe American Pit Bull Terrier).
Possibly there's some Mastiff, Bullmastiff or Great Dane in there. The coloring is right and his feet are huge! Somehow, they remind me of Great Dane and Mastiff pups' feet I've seen... weird I know. There's just something about his body that looks very much like a large-dog puppy to me.

go to a vets office they can pretty much determain the age and breed of a dog.
I had the same thing happen to me several years ago when I took my dog to the vet he said she was part lab and part white english bulldog when she was a pup she looked like a lab but now she is around 10 years old she has the lab head with a white english body, picture UGA from the georgia bulldogs with a lab head and lab hair that is what she looks like.

regrettably maximum folk of folk who've mutts are people who permit their canines run. some do yet maximum pedigree proprietors have spent greater funds and hence, tend to take greater advantageous care on frequently used. yet, no longer ALL!!!!!!!! there's no breed talked approximately as "stray canines" maximum are a mixture of two or greater breeds.

You could take him to the vet and they should be able to help or you could try to look at dogs online and see if you can find a match.
