You know, those jalepenos that are stuffed with cheese, usually cream cheese, and breaded on the outside.

cut peppers in half and remove the seeds fill each side of the pepper with cream cheese and freeze. Once the pepper and cheese is frozen the you can use the SBP (standard breading procedure). lightly roll the peppers in flour, then in an egg wash, and finally coat with bread crumbs. Fry until you see a bit of cheese oozing out.

Here's one recipe:

10 fresh green and/or red jalapeno peppers
1 cup (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
2 pieces crisp fried bacon, crumbled
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup flour for dredging
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Cut each pepper in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and membranes. When removing the stem, be sure to leave the tops intact as to form a bowl. Set aside.

Stir together cheddar cheese, cream cheese, bacon and Italian seasoning in a medium mixing bowl. Spoon some of the cheese mixture into each pepper half, slightly rounding it.

Beat together the egg and the milk in a small bowl. Dip each pepper into the flour, then roll in the bread crumbs. Shake off crumbs, them repeat process once more. Place pepper halves, filled side up on a large baking sheet covered with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 30 minutes or until tender and heated through.

Enjoy!

There are different ways. If you want super easy version.. take the peppers and cut off the top. Clean out the seeds. Use a pastry tube to fill in the cheese. Or if you don't have one, you can put it in a plastic sandwich bag and cut off the corner. You need to let the cheese warm up to room temp or it will burst the bag if you use that method. Make up some pancake batter in a box and add a little salt and red pepper for heat, and not so much water as it calls for so it will be thick. Then fry them. OR you can just buy a bag of them frozen at costco and save even more time and effort, ha ha.

Cut the caps half off the pepper - do not cut all the way! Remove the seeds, fill with warmed/softened cheese (cheddar, cream, queso blanco, whatever), dip in an egg/milk wash and coat with panko bread crumbs. Freeze (1-2 hours). Dip in the wash, panko, freeze one more time. This will keep the cheese from falling out when you cook them. Deep fry (350-400F) until golden brown or cheese begins to run (which shouldn't happen if you keep the cap on... but still might...)

C B is right on! Bethany needs to learn how to spell Wal-Mart. Seriously C B's answer is the way to do it. I think you've got a best answer right there, I've done it, and yep, with a sandwich bag!

You can buy the kind at Wall-mart that you just stick in the oven, and they taste pretty good.
I don't know a home made recipe, though.

I don't know, but I can share one important thing I learned about working with jalapeno peppers: if you need to go to the bathroom, wash your hands *before* you pee--at least if you're male, as I am.
