Pabst Blue Ribbon, widely known as being a redneck beer, is actually great the company was founded by German immigrants as so many breweries were. Its really inexpensive but in no way cheap.

If you're from the northwest a keg of Fat Tire is popular at parties. How about this if you are entertaining people that will eventually go streaking after drinking as much as possible to get drunk, get a cheap Keg of PBR. If you are entertaining legitimate guests and want to give them some good beer there must be a local brewery somewhere that will sell kegs. If you are somewhere that doesnt have such a thing then Sam Adams is a good beer.

Schlitz, PBR and Miller High Life. I once did a blind taste test of all the widely available cheap domestic beers and these 3 won. Interestingly, Miller High Life was much better than Miller's higher priced beers (Lite, Chill and MGD). Go figure.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Any Oregon micro brew. Just look for it on sale and stock up. My son likes Pabst when he's going for uber-cheap. I'd rather have one good beer than a case of cheap stuff. Mickey's Big Mouth isn't bad, though. Samuel Adams Winter White is one of my favorites. Then there's Dead Guy Ale by Rogue, which has a whole slew of great beers. Gee! You really got me started!

Yuengling would be my favorite cheap beer. I'm not talking Black Label cheap but not expensive. Once a bartender at a bar in Wilmington DE, tried to sell me it as an import. I had to laugh... All the way from Pennsylvania... 120 miles away from Pottsville.

I always keep some Milwaukee's Best Light on hand. When a hoarde descends upon my domicile, I don't want them killing all my Urquell, Beck's, Dogfish Head or other premium beers. So I buy a ton of the MBL and let them have as much as they can take.

It's also good for washing down super-hot spicy food.

Pabst Blue Ribbon!
PBR is actually a pretty underrated beer, primarily because it's cheap. For the price, it's actually pretty good beer. I've been out drinking with professional microbrewers who will order PBR. I was surprised.

I personally drink Keystone Light, it's made by Coors and in my own opinion is better than the parent brand. It sells for about the same price as Natural (Bud's cheap brand)

Pabst. It's really cheap, but I prefer to spend a bit more for a quality beer
