Yes, dump her. If she can't play Halo, she isn't worth keeping around anyway.

Halo Shmaylo. If you'd put away the game, she would eat up more than your time, if ya know what I mean, wink wink. Don't worry about it too much, she will do it for you. Some guys play video games to stay busy after they break up from a relationship. You are breaking up so you can play video games? Honestly, do you think it's normal for a girl to accept that behavior and stick around believing you are the best that's out there? She's going to see the light and you'll be glad you have games when she's gone. She's hinting that you are nearing an end. It's not going to be pretty. Go for the intervention or be single for a LONG time. How old are you, seriously? My EX is 37 and lives for Resident Evil (too broke to go on dates that 30-somethings go on) and even blows off my daughter for it. He has her 8 days a month and sends her to her room when he plays. He can play 22 days a month, why on her time? Don't turn out like him!!!!! We go to court in a couple months. Step outside and get some fresh air, you need it. If she is still romantically interested in you, give her one night a week dedicated to the two of you, a set night just to show her she's better than Halo. If you can't do that, you're screwed.

If she is willing to learn give her some pointers for her game. It dont sound like you are happy tho, and in that case you should break up. I am a gamer to, but i wouldnt pick Halo over sex :) You can play Halo any time (like after sex when she is sleeping)

I know it does not compare to Halo, but I am a HUGE Zelda fan. When ever a new Zelda game comes out I flat out tell people they will not see me for at least two weeks.
As for breaking up with your girlfriend if she really understands you she will take care of you so you can continue to play. My Boyfriend comes home and reminds me to eat, and gets me food if I have not eaten yet.

Well I think you should break up with her because you would be doing her a favor. That is sorry that all you want to do is play halo.

Break up with her. Let her go and try to be happy with somebody who will want to spend time with her. Obviously, you are not all that into her. You have already picked your priority. Be happy and Halo away and let her go and try to find happiness with someone else.

Is your relationship with her and people more important than a computer game? I think you need to re-evaluate your priorities and understand while this might be a fun game, people are more important and you would be wasting your time if all you did was play it. Sorry to come off a little harsh, but I think your girlfriend is more important than a stupid game.
