i think the reason i still bring it up is more of an attention thing, i mean i get depressed cause hes not letting me know that i do anything to make hime happy. and i think i want hime to just tell me that he loves me and wants to be with me and all that mombo jumbo i dont know.

Tell him to hit the road. Why would you want him to stay out of pity? Love does not come from pity, and you will not be happy. He wants out, so let him go, and find someone that will return the love that you have to give. If he is only staying because you were hurting, then he is very likely to cheat. That would hurt even worse.

if the pity stay was said during an arguement it may hold little merit. but if that is the honestly the reason may splitting up is a good idea. either way continuously bringing up an incident from 2 years prior isn't healthy. leave or stay is up to you, but drop past mistakes they only lead to more wounds that are deeper than the first.

ok, in one way he has a point...if you can't forgive him, and can't get past what he did, then you should let him move on....but, since you said he stayed only because you were hurting, then maybe he really doesn't know what he wants and he's looking for a way out by blaming you, so that he's not the bad guy.....tough situation....I'd have a talk with him, and find out how he really feels....

best of luck :)
