My Dog Is A Mutt

If the dog does not closely match the breed standard as set up by the breeds parent club then it is probably a mutt. I have known quite a few "registered" dogs who were really mixed breeds and either were PM/Pet Store dogs or came from bad breeders so papers do not necessarily mean purebred. There now exsists a couple of tests you or your vet can give to your dog to see what mix it might be.

well first you heave to know about dogs and and dog breeds , so if you one day see a dog who has a head of a Lab but the body is smaller and thinner , that would be considered a lab/mix . and so on .
like the one I heave every one is thinking she is a lab puppy , but she is 7 yrs old and she is a lab/terrier mix .

Easy, if you can't figure out what breed it is, its a mutt.
