if you look up the name JEHOVAH in the catholic encyclopeda, the jewish encyclopedia, and any other ecyclopedia you will find that in the original hebrew manuscripts of the bible gods name, JEHOVAH, was found in the bible nearly 7000 times but was replaced with many titles such as god, lord, or almighty. why then do people continue to make up explanations that demote the name of god??

"JEHOVAH" is / was not the only title attributed to God but there were other titles to describe God such as, Adonai etc. - these titles ALL describe WHO God is i.e. Healer, Sustainer, Provider, Protector, Almighty, etc. To only limit God to the title of "Jehovah" would be a sin in itself because God is much - much more !!!

The word "Jehovah" did not appear in any ancient manuscript. The closest approximation is "Yahweh." Like I said, "Jehovah" is as close to the actual Hebrew name for God as the English "Lord." If you want to apply the original Hebrew name for God, be my guest. But you will need to change your denomination to "Yahweh's Witnesses."
